I am so pumped for this game. I love Quantic Dream ever since I’ve played Indigo Prophecy, and Heavy Rain made me love them even more. I’m sure this game will not disappoint.

Free Online FPS, Tribes Ascend:

When I was at PAX this year they had demos of this game, Tribes Ascend. Right away I thought it looks like a Halo game. I am currently downloading it now but for anyone out there who doesn’t know about it, check it out if you like games like Halo or even just FPS. It’s free and worth a shot.

I haven’t posted in a while. Partly because I’ve had some pretty busy weeks with PAX, school, and redoing my room. I painted my walls beige finally and got a wood floor put down. I havent really been playing any games after I beat Mass Effect. I didn’t have a major problem with the ending, yeah there are some unanswered things and there isn’t any different endings based on your choices, but at least it told us how the reaper battle ended. The game I have been playing however is Kid Icarus Uprising for the 3ds. I love it. I just beat it yesterday and I loved the story, and the script and the play style. The online modes keep you busy as well (there is only two modes).

Another thing that happened was I quit GameStop. I really just got sick of it, they treat their customers so bad. Everytime I worked there they were always telling me to push the customer to pre order or to buy this or do that. And then if your ever sick you can’t even call out without it being a big deal. So yeah, I left.

I need to start playing Gears of War 3 multiplayer again. I usually play that all the time but I haven’t played it in months now. After these next few hectic weeks of school coming to an end for the semester and finals I will hopefully be back on track.

Oh and I would go into detail about PAX East. However there has been a ton of news all over the internet. So in short it was great, i got to talk to the developers of Fable Heroes and who worked on the Fable games, and play against developers for Aliens colonial marines game that is going to be coming out. I also got a bunch of free stuff like an Assassin’s creed shirt, Kid icarus shirt, Epic games shirt, Magicka for steam, and Rift the pc game. I can’t wait to go next year. I also could have gotten Far cry 3 for free if I got a mohawk… but umm.. yeah if i was a guy i def would have but being a girl, nope lol

Well that’s interesting how it comes with a reversible cover for female shepard. I probably won’t switch mine though simply because I like to keep my games the way they are originally given. But I like that, it’s something new. I’m also going to take the time to say I didn’t play the demo yet. I feel like I will spoil something if I do so I decided to wait until the game comes out. I can’t wait to try multiplayer though.

Hey, I was just reading on about your thoughts on the AC III release date, and I just thought I'd add that they have been working on AC III for 3 or so years, so they're certainly not rushing it. :)

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I’m certainly relieved to hear that, I hope they release some news about the game soon. After AC: Revelations I’m pretty nervous about their approach towards the series. It’s still a great game but I was disappointed because I felt like it could have been more. So while it isn’t rushed, I hope it doesn’t feel rushed while playing it. But 3 years, hmm I doubt it will feel rushed. It would take a big mess up for that in my opinion lol. Especially since they have people’s feedback on AC Revelations to look at and work from. But once again, thanks =]

Thoughts on AC:3 release date and Gears DLC

I read about what the next DLC is for Gears of War 3, and I’m not too happy. It’s great getting more maps, but there’s already sooo many and they are good ones to. I personally would like to see additions to horde mode like more fortifications and so on. So yes, I like more maps, but I hope that there will be additions to horde mode soon instead of many more maps, especially so recent to the other map DLCs. I feel like I still need to get bored of them. What I really do not like though is how these “exclusive pre-order characters” are going to be given in this DLC. Guess my pre-order isn’t so exclusive anymore. I am happy about more weapon skins though, not so much the addition of the achievements though. But yeah anyway, overall it’s good that in a way it keeps the game fresh but those are just my initial thoughts.

I also read something saying that Assassin’s Creed 3 is due October 30th. Because I feel like AC: Revelations just came out yesterday, I’m worried that this game will not be as great as it could be. Hopefully this one will be the last, simply because I feel like this game should not be dragged out, or it may get ruined. This one should let us play as Desmond and add back to the game that they took out in AC: Revelations. But I feel like this one is rushed, I mean other games like Tomb Raider or The Last of Us are talked about a year or so before they are coming out. But this one we don’t know anything about other then when it is coming out? And this comes out in 8 months if they don’t postpone it. Blah. I’m happy, but I’m also unsettled because I really doubt they will give a game to its full potential.

Anyway, back to finishing my Assassin’s Creed wallpaper I am working on. I finally got myself to put time aside for this. I also need to put down Skyrim and take some time to play League of Legends. I miss that game. I feel like I am going to be worse now that I haven’t played it in ages. Warwick ftw.

According to ABC Today, EA will be launching a few ME3 games into space.

They are planned to come back to Earth sometime before March 6th, ME3’s release date. They can be tracked on the Mass Effect website, and anyone who finds one will be able to play the game before they even hit retailers.
